Environmental Portrait, TAKE 1

So here are the results of the Preliminary Environmental Portrait, was a REALLY tight photoshoot with limited time and limited equipment. My model, who I was very thankful that she could come, has a very tight schedule and this was the only time we could make it work. All the reflectors were taken out because of a class trip so I had to improvise with some tinfoil and cardboard, looks pretty pro dosen't it? It works fine on the dull side of the tinfoil, but the only downfall was it was REALLY small and I only used it on the main problem spot. Enjoy!

Richmond Fair

As part of an assignment, we were asked to shoot some pictures at the Richmond Fair. It was a pretty simple assignment, I recently bought a new 50mm 1.8 lens so it gave me a chance to try it out. I've only ever used the 50mm for portraits with a tripod and I found that when I was walking around with it, the viewing was very similar to what I was seeing with my own eyes. I think I would have rather have had some kind of zoom lens so I could capture images from farther away but I am happy with the results anyways. Here are a few of my favorite images, enjoy!
